2 day, 1 night - Oct 30 and 31 (Wed/Thur) mid week drive (Fall colors) through San Diego County backroads
Note – tour subject to postponement if bad weather, fire or smoke is forecasted for Oct 30 - 31
Wed (10/30):
Meetup in Temecula area (TBD) at 11am. Leave by 11:30. If not too hot, drive to Borrego Springs for lunch and then up Banner pass to Julian.
If too hot for Borrego Springs, lunch at Yellow Deli and then Mtn Palomar and Mesa Grande on the way to Julian.
Check-in at Julian Lodge by 4:00 and enjoy downtown Julian. Dinner walking distance nearby.
Thur (10/31):
Morning breakfast in Julian and then leisurely drive of fall colors through Pine Hills, Engineer Rd to hwy 79 Lk Cuyamaca down to hwy 80 and up Sunrise hwy.
Lunch stop at Dudley's Bakery and Cafe and back to Temecula around 3:00pm
Group limited to 10 rooms including tour leader. All dining, refreshments and other expenses are on your own.
Single night lodging cost of $175 per room (single or double occupancy).
